👏👏 to Dallas County for hitting this milestone! #repost @dallasnews: 💉 Dallas County officials on Wednesday celebrated giving their 250,000th dose of the COVID-19 vaccine at Fair Park, a major milestone for the once-troubled site that seems to have found its stride. County Judge Clay Jenkins, who led the effort at Fair Park, said daily improvements such as splitting up entrances for those getting their first and second dose, moving checkpoints and improving the digital reservation system have paid off. The milestone, reached the first week the vaccine was open to residents ages 16 and up, comes as more than 7.4 million Texans have received at least one dose of a coronavirus vaccine, state data show.
