Red River Showdown Safety Procedures

  • Social Distance - Stay at least 6 feet apart. Maintain social distance between yourself and others.
  • A clear bag policy is in effect to enhance security measures and expedite venue entry at the AT&T Red River Showdown (see Clear Bag Policy below)
  • Face Coverings Required. Please see Mask Policy.

Mask Policy

  • Appropriate cloth or surgical-style masks that cover the nose and mouth completely will be required at all times while on the Fair Park campus and in Cotton Bowl Stadium.
  • Other face coverings including clear face shields, gaiters/buffs, bandanas, or masks with valves are not permitted.
  • Masks may be removed temporarily only if necessary for eating and drinking while in stadium seating or in common areas.

Clear Bag Policy

Permitted bags allowed in Cotton Bowl® Stadium include: Only Bags and totes that are made of clear plastic and do not exceed 12” X 6” X 12”, or one-gallon clear resealable plastic storage bags, or small clutch bags or purses (which are not required to be clear) that do not exceed 4.5” X 6.5”.  All other bags (including but not limited to backpacks) and/or containers (including but not limited to cans, plastic bottles, thermos, coolers, and/or hard-sided bags) are prohibited inside the stadium.

Medical device bags are permitted, though will be subject to inspection upon entrance to Cotton Bowl® Stadium.

Fair Park COVID-19 Alert

We have taken enhanced health and safety measures to protect our venue guests.  However, there is an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. According to the CDC, senior citizens and guests with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable.  By entering the venue, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19, and Venue disclaims any and all liability related thereto.

In accordance with the guidance and recommendations set forth by the CDC and local health officials, we respectfully request that the following guests not attend this event:

  • Guests who are feeling sick or experiencing cold or flu-like symptoms (including fever, cough and shortness of breath); 
  • Guests who have been diagnosed with, or believe to have contracted, COVID-19, unless you have had no fever for 72 hours (without use of medicine) and 10 days have passed since symptoms first appeared;
  • Guests who have been in contact with an individual diagnosed with COVID-19 within the past 14 days; and 
  • Guests who have traveled internationally in the past 14 days.
