Celebrate Independence Day with festivities for all ages and be dazzled by beautiful fireworks from inside Dallas’ historic Cotton Bowl Stadium at MetroPCS FAIR PARK FOURTH on Thursday, July 4, 2013 at Fair Park.
Free and open to the public, the family-fun event will feature a Dallas Wind Symphony patriotic performance, reduced admission to Fair Park's museums, live music, a children's area, “dancing water” shows at the Esplanade Fountain, carnival games, plus a spectacular fireworks show sponsored by Gold Metal Recyclers. For the ultimate experience, guests are encouraged to watch the fireworks from inside the Cotton Bowl.
Enjoy a patriotic performance by the Grammy-nominated Dallas Wind Symphony at 8 p.m. in front of the Hall of State. Led by guest conductor Don McKinney of LSU in Baton Rouge, the Dallas Wind Symphony will perform its beloved Red, White and Blue Concert featuring July 4th favorites such as America the Beautiful, The Star-Spangled Banner, Washington Post March and more.
